VARADKAR: LESS HOSPITAL BEDS WILL PUT THEM UNDER PRESSURE

We now know why the health service is in a mess. Varadkar has dropped the PR spin and revealed his true philosophy. He said ‘when they have more beds and more resources, that’s what kind of slows it down. Because they [hospital staff] don’t feel as much under pressure.’

The INMO estimates that 1,700 acute public beds have been closed since 2008. 5,000 nursing jobs have been axed.
A normal Health Minister would say that we need to restore the beds and the hospital staff. But the true blue FG Minister thinks it best to keep the staff under pressure. Shocking stuff!
